SUNNIC Launched the First EU PBCD Industry Alliance

On December 13, 2022, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who said that Hungary has become the number one destination for Chinese investments in Central Europe, which will help Hungary avoid falling into recession in the European economy. The investment in Hungary by CATL, the world's largest power battery company, is the largest ever made in Hungary and will create 9,000 new jobs in Debrecen.

On the afternoon of December 19th 2022, SUNNIC, the leading provider of intelligent power station services for PBCD(PV, Battery Energy Storage, EV Charging, Battery Diagnosis),which is strategically co-invested by CATL and Xiaomi, launched the first EU PBCD Industry alliance. Many important industrial park guests from Hungarian government agencies, electricity, petroleum and other head energy and investment enterprises and Chinese capital in Hungary participated in the launching ceremony of the alliance.

Ms. Dolly, Chief Representative of SUNNIC Hungary, said that, the provisional agreement reached between the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament on December 9th on the Battery Regulation was the first product rule in the world that put forward green requirements for the whole life cycle of batteries. It put forward higher competition threshold requirements for the electrification industry chain in China and Europe, and would have a profound impact on the new energy industry. As the earliest Chinese high-tech enterprise to bring PBCD concept into Hungary, SUNNIC initiated the establishment of the Hungarian PBCD Industry Alliance, which is the most perfect response to the European Battery Regulation and would help Hungary take the lead in the EU region to realize the construction of a national PV energy storage and supercharging network, which would have a positive impact on the development of green energy industry policies and industry standards, and the cooperation between China and Europe on electrification.

At the opening ceremony, SUNNIC announced its global new brand-SUNNIC, which means the son of the sun, the future of battery storage and supercharging.
