On December 15th, Shanghai Sunnic New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Sichuan Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Deyang Energy Development Group Co., Ltd. The partnership aims to jointly contribute to the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle and collaborate in creating a new energy demonstration city in the southwestern region.

As a traditional industrial city in the southwestern region, Deyang is currently undergoing the pains of transitioning to a low-carbon city. There is an urgent need to advance local energy structure optimization and develop a green transportation system. By leveraging the collaborative efforts of Deyang Energy, Sichuan CATL (a subsidiary of CATL), and Shanghai Sunnic, the goal is to transform Deyang into a “green, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly” new energy demonstration city.
Sunnic, drawing on its technological expertise in intelligent microgrids and supercharging systems, will contribute to the planning and construction of key projects in Deyang. These include the “Smart PV, Battery storage, EV Charging and Diagnosis Power Station”, “User-Side Energy Storage System”, and “Zero-Carbon Industrial Park”. Sunnic's core focus on energy storage microgrids, coupled with the latest 480kW supercharging system, will be instrumental in establishing “PV, Battery storage, EV Supercharging and Diagnosis” stations in Deyang's core areas and along main routes. This network will interconnect the entire urban charging grid in Deyang, realizing the green mobility goal of electric vehicles traversing the city and reaching all districts.

In addition, Sunnic will provide energy optimization solutions for industrial and commercial parks in Deyang. By deploying AI intelligent strategies and integrating energy storage systems to form user-side microgrids, Sunnic aims to address the challenges of power shortages in daily production and life. This initiative will enhance Deyang's power system by peak shaving, capacity expansion, and smoothing electricity flow, ultimately improving its capabilities in clean energy integration. The goal is to transform Deyang into a high-quality “new energy + energy storage” demonstration city, nurturing a global landmark industry in clean energy equipment.

Liu Bin, Deputy General Manager of Deyang Energy Development Group, Yang Weiping, Executive Deputy General Manager of CATL Southwest Region for Electrification, and Zhao Meng, General Manager of Shanghai Sunnic Southwest Region, attended and signed the tripartite agreement, indicating that they will jointly carry out business innovation, incubate diverse cooperation models and commercial application scenarios, create a benchmark city-level new energy cooperation demonstration, and jointly promote the electrification of the southwest region.

By deepening its presence in the southwest region, Sunnic has successfully assisted in the construction of a city-level charging and diagnosis network for the "electric Yibin" project, and provided solutions for the construction of zero-carbon parks in various regions of Sichuan. Through this cooperation, Sunnic will deepen the construction of energy networks in the southwest region, accelerate the transformation of regional green transportation and clean energy structures, and help preserve the green mountains and clear waters of the "Land of Abundance".
