PetroChina & Sunnic Team Up for European Solar Energy Storage and Charging Network

On February 29th, London time, PetroChina and Sunnic, together with De Veranda, a famous chain group in Europe, announced the construction of "Smart Energy Green Carbon Restaurant Project". The project takes "Solar storage and charging" as the core technology, and provides a new closed-loop energy scenario of "restaurant rooftop solar power generation, energy storage microgrid EMS management, and guest charging VIP service" for the whole of Europe.

With the help of Sunnic's "intelligent microgrid" system, the electricity produced by the solar system of the whole restaurant will be distributed to each place that needs electricity.Just like an executive chef controls the steak's heat, as well as the progress of the back-of-the-house cooking, creating new and exciting dishes to satisfy different needs.

The new generation of solar storage and charging microgrid system jointly defined by SUNNIC and CATL perfectly realizes the goals of dining and charging, PV storage and green restaurant, and creates the first green energy top restaurant in Europe by the joint efforts of many parties.

"Solar, energy storage, and EV charging are all increasingly mature technologies, and the difficulty in applying "solar storage and charging" lies in integrating the functions of all three, so that they can be efficiently used and controlled for the demand scenarios. The first phase of the project is located in the Netherlands, and it is planned to build the first "solar storage and charging" smart energy restaurant in De Veranda restaurant in Amsterdam. After the completion of the project, the restaurant roof can produce about 52,000 kWh of electricity per year.

With the help of Sunnic energy management system and CATL safe and leading energy storage batteries, after guaranteeing the charging demand of vehicles, it can also provide reliable power supply for the restaurant, solving the problems of charging EV, high electricity price, emergency power supply, etc., and becoming a self-sustaining microgrid ecology, which realizes zero carbon emission, and will become a new benchmark of environmental protection and green energy.
