Co-building Thailand's PV-Energy Storage-Charging Network: SUNNIC Partners with Royal Dragon

March 16, 2024

On March 14th, SUNNIC and Royal Dragon Group signed a collaborative agreement aimed at addressing and improving Thailand's electricity supply issues through integrated PV-Energy Storage-Charging solutions. Recognizing Thailand's challenges including power shortages, high electricity prices, and carbon emissions, both parties outlined plans to upgrade over a thousand fuel/gas stations into comprehensive PV-Energy Storage-Charging stations. Leveraging Thailand's tropical location and abundant solar resources, the project integrates the available space at these stations to establish self-sustaining, zero-carbon energy stations capable of self-generation, storage, supply, and external charging.

The signing ceremony witnessed participation and endorsement from various entities including SUNNIC, Royal Dragon, CATL AMB, and numerous international corporations. SUNNIC shared standardized solutions for PV-Energy Storage-Charging, drawing upon its extensive experience from numerous domestic and international projects. Significant optimizations were made in equipment size, installation time, overall costs, and efficiency utilization, not only offering integrated solutions but also providing standalone energy storage and charging products compliant with international standards, thus achieving a modular product supply system.
