SUNNIC and China Petroleum International (Hong Kong) Join Forces to Forge a New Era with PV-Energy Storage-EV Charging

March 29, 2024

On March 28th, China Petroleum International (Hong Kong) and Shanghai SUNNIC announced the signing of an agreement to construct the PV-Energy Storage-EV Charging network in Hong Kong, accelerating the development of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure. Representatives from China Petroleum International (Hong Kong), Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited, and SUNNIC attended the strategic signing ceremony and project discussions. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive PV-Energy Storage-EV Charging solution and services throughout the lifecycle, addressing issues such as limited land resources, high electricity demand, and inadequate infrastructure for new energy vehicles.

PV-Energy Storage-EV Charging is a green energy utilization system that SUNNIC has been focusing on since its inception. It allocates energy throughout the body efficiently, combining advanced concepts such as self-generation, self-storage, self-distribution, self-use, and reverse power supply to create a new generation of local energy utilization systems. SUNNIC and China Petroleum International (Hong Kong) will effectively integrate green energy, consumption, and utilization hardware to efficiently connect existing gas stations for redevelopment or new station construction, achieving the construction of low-carbon and zero-carbon areas and effectively alleviating carbon emissions. Both parties will deeply analyze the overall operation of smart power stations and provide precise decision-making support based on data monitoring, maximizing energy utilization. Through continuous iteration and optimization of the system, the project will achieve true zero emissions, providing robust technical support for building a green and supercharged city in Hong Kong.

SUNNIC collaborates with China Petroleum International (Hong Kong) to establish more PV-Energy Storage-EV Charging self-circulation projects in Hong Kong, reducing the burden on the power grid while also providing more green electricity sources. Together, they aim to achieve the goals set by the Hong Kong SAR Government: phasing out coal-fired power generation, developing renewable energy, and reaching net-zero carbon electricity generation by 2050.
